A Children’s/Youth Center providing meals, psycho-social support, and after-school programming in academics, arts, recreation, and life.  Co-founded in 2007 with support from MSU students in the MRULE program and Race Relations in South Africa Study Abroad program.

MRULE has supported this organization since 2012 with local initiatives in community gardens, clean-ups, and blight removal.  Recently, Neigbors Building Brightmoor had a segment on the OWN Network’s Super Soul Sunday.

 

 


Village Summit Community Center
Lansing, MI

The ICA program has supported this local after-school youth center since its inception in 2010.  The community garden, clean-up, and touch ups of facilities and tutoring children and youth are the key services provided.

 

 

 

 


Allen Neighborhood Center
Lansing, MI

2014 marks the beginning of this partnership, providing weekly service in the Hunter Garden Park for Community Supported Agriculture and other neighborhood initiatives.
